The Family Promise Board can consist of up to 18 individuals. These individuals are voted onto the Board after a preliminary period of service on at least one committee. Please learn about our current Board below.

Structure of our Board
- Strong Committees, Effective Board
Except for the Executive Committee, board members will not be required to chair our committees. However, each board member will be expected to serve on one standing committee and represent the committee(s) at our regular board meetings. The bulk of our board directives will be carried out by our committee chairs.
- Board Size and Terms
Our Board will consist of seven to nine members for our first three years of operation. Members will serve three year terms that are renewable for one additional term.At the first meeting of the Board, the Trustees shall draw lots so that the term of one third of the Trustees shall expire at the end of one year, one third at the end of two years, and one third at the end of three years. Thereafter, the terms of Trustees shall be for three years.
Board size may increase based on future needs.

- Meeting Frequency
Regular meetings will be held monthly for the first year of operation, and quarterly thereafter.
Special meetings of the Executive Committee may be held at the discretion of the President.
