Simplicity of a Stove
What first thought comes to mind when you see this picture?
What a mess, right?! At a glance, it honestly does look like a complete mess, but to a Family Promise guest, this stove is used to help provide a hearty breakfast for their family.
Many guests who walk through these doors come from hotels, couch surfing, or even their cars. A stove means much more to them than it may to us. So, yes, this is a messy stove, and the dishes will need to get done, but what you do not see is the family sitting down at the table, laughing and enjoying a meal together. It's more than just a mess now, isn't it?
